With Legend Extend missing values of a legend can be added. These are field values of a theme which are not covered by any class of the legend and therefore are shown like the null values in the No-Data Class. This function has the opposite effect of the function Legend Limit (and serves as a test if all necessary classes are available in the legend).

• The themes which legends shall be extended must be active.
• Try to load missing classes from default legend: Tries to load colors/symbols and labels for the classes from the default legend (if existing). Without this option random symbols and colors (to the added classes) are assigned.

  With this function a former Legend Limit command can be made undone, or accidentally erased classes can be added again, without losing the other changes (e.g. changed colors).

• Click on the button to run the command. When finished, the status bar shows the total number of the added classes.
